Poly Aluminium Chloride, referred to as PAC, is an inorganic polymer coagulant. It is an inorganic polymer water treatment agent with large molecular weight and high charge produced by the bridging effect of Hydroxide ion ions and the polymerization of multivalent anions. Solid products have the advantages of high adsorption activity, short settling time, wide pH range adaptation, no need for coagulants, and are not affected by water temperature. They are widely used in water purification treatment of domestic and industrial water, urban sewage treatment, industrial wastewater, sewage, sludge treatment, and the recovery of certain residues in wastewater. At the same time, for some industrial wastewater that is difficult to treat, PAC is used as the mother material, mixed with other agents, and mixed into composite PAC, treating sewage can yield surprising results.
Applications of Poly Aluminium Chloride
1. Sewage treatment
Poly Aluminium Chloride can be applied to printing plants, printing and dyeing plants, leather factories, breweries, meat processing plants, pharmaceutical plants, Paper mill, coal washing, metallurgy, mining areas, as well as the treatment of wastewater containing fluorine, oil, heavy metals, and daily domestic sewage, chemical wastewater, and industrial sewage.
2. Mining industry
Poly Aluminium Chloride flocculant has a very good performance in the mining industry. It is used for ore washing and mineral separation. On the one hand, it separates water from gangue to facilitate water reuse; on the other hand, polyacrylamide dewaters the generated sludge.
3. Oil extraction
Poly Aluminium Chloride is the main material used for wastewater treatment in oil exploitation, and it is used as oil displacement agent, water shutoff modifier, drilling fluid modifier and fracturing fluid additive in oil exploitation.
4. Paper industry
